What is a SKILL.md skill?
It is a folder containing a SKILL.md file with a name, a description of when to use it, and the instructions. Claude and ChatGPT read the description and load the skill automatically when your request matches. It is an open standard, so the same skill works across apps.
How do I install a skill in Claude?
Turn on code execution in Settings, then open Customize, Skills, choose Create skill and Upload a skill, and select the skill's .zip file. Switch the skill on and start a new chat. The pack's setup guide covers ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude Code too.
Do skills work in ChatGPT and Gemini?
ChatGPT accepts skill uploads as a .zip. In Gemini you paste the skill into a Gem's instructions; every skill in the pack also ships as paste-in text for any AI.
